About Alix
Alix graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2012 followed by over ten years of extensive international practicing experience as an osteopath (London, New Zealand, Germany and North Cornwall).
He also lectures and teaches osteopathy and body sciences across the UK and Germany.
He is the first British registered osteopath to complete a diploma in anthroposophical medicine.
After 3 years of practicing and teaching osteopathy in Germany he is now (since August 2023) back to practice in Bude at the Neetside community centre during weekdays.
Alix has dedicated his career to osteopathy with the goal of understanding how the human body develops and evolves throughout life. With international experience in New Zealand, Germany, and the UK, Alix discovered a deep passion for teaching the human sciences and osteopathy.
His approach to practice began to evolve when he undertook a diploma in Anthroposophical Medicine. This study laid the foundation for understanding the interconnected rhythms of the body, its vitality, the emotional world, and the spiritual dimensions of each individual. Through this work, Alix realised that these dimensions are not isolated; they are intricately connected to the rhythms of nature and the cosmos. By integrating these insights into his daily practice, Alix uncovered a new dimension of the healing process. He came to recognise that healing manifests through changes in rhythm, both in the physical and emotional body. Navigating this path was not without challenges. However, Alix learned to trust the principles expressed through the healing body, believing in their potential to bring about the most profound outcomes for each individual.
Alix is deeply committed to helping individuals reconnect with themselves, discover their health and potential, and navigate their unique healing processes.
As a pioneer in the field of inherent healing, Alix is also dedicated to sharing these insights with the wider therapeutic community - not only to benefit individual practitioners but also to advance the field of therapy and contribute to the betterment of humanity, the planet, and our connection to the universe.
